Still strange though, especially since Applejack or even Rainbow Dash's attacks would fit better since Rarity has usually been depicted fighting with her bare hooves on the show, using what might be some kind of pony martial arts. Somewhat glaring, since not only is she the only palette swap, the others at least use abilities resembling the ones that they have in the show. Palette Swap: Gameplay wise, Rarity is exactly the same as Twilight Sparkle. In the sequel, King Sombra and Trixie are this if you play as Shining Armor or Fancy Pants, and the final battle is against a group of Changelings that mimic the player character's attacks. Fitting enough, since Gilda is Dash's Shadow Archetype. The Gilda fight, if one plays as Rainbow Dash. The reason why Applejack's attack deals more damage is because she also needs to have her BACK to the target to hit. Fluttershy's Stare has the same range.Same goes for Big Mac and Zecora in the sequel. Mighty Glacier: Applejack has the shortest ranged attack in the game, and can't fly or teleport, but also does the most damage.Magic Missile: Unicorns (both player characters and bosses) attack with them.In the second game, the final boss is a trio of Changelings, a pretty unrelenting Wolfpack Boss that is fairly hard (by this game's standards.).Dual Boss: The Ursa Major and Ursa Minor in the second game.Death Glare: Fluttershy's Stare has been powered up to the point where it can destroy stone walls.
